An associate attorney at Long, Murphy & Shemkus, P.A., Deborah J. Rust exclusively practices family law. As a former prosecutor, Deborah knows what it takes to navigate difficult courtroom proceedings. Whether it be inside the courtroom or during negotiations between the parties, Deborah’s knowledge and experience enable her to successfully advocate for clients from beginning to end, helping them achieve the best outcome possible.
Deborah received her B.A. from Pepperdine University and her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University - Caruso School of Law. She joined Long, Murphy & Shemkus, P.A. in 2022, after working in Northern California as a prosecutor and briefly for the Collier County Clerk of the Court and Comptroller’s office.
